The German family film Raspberries with Mustard will have its Dutch premiere at the Cinekid Festival on Saturday 16 October 2021. Five years earlier, the film received a Special Mention at Cinekid from the jury of the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award. Lead actress Leni Deschner and director Ruth Olshan will be present at the premiere.

As the daughter of a funeral home director, death is nothing special to Meeri. Her mother is dead and she adds notes for her to the coffins of the deceased. When her father gets a new girlfriend, Meeri just can’t get used to the idea and she is also in love with Rocco – so much so that she literally flies away.

The film, also known under the German title Himbeeren mit Senf, is a production by Zischlermann Filmproduktion in co-production with Phanta Film, BosBros, Amour Fou Luxembourg (LU), Neos Film (DE) and Turnus Film (CH).
